Our Approach

At By His Grace Farms we find quality horses from all over the country to add to our personal stable. We use our patience and experience to bring along our horses ensuring they have the best care and experience. We provide the resources to local facilities to expand the search for your perfect mount or place you in the hands of a professional as the need arises.

Our Story

By His Grace Farms was started as a private farm allowing us to work with our personal horses in a quiet environment. Within the first year we realized there is a need to providing quality horses to the equine enthusiasts. We bring experience and understanding of both training and sales of quality horses which anyone can enjoy in the show pen, in the field, and on a hunt equally the same. We work with our personal horses slowly and meticulously to ensure they develop the best habits and manners as we show and enjoy. We realize and utilize our differences to our advantage as we are always discussing how to better the horses we work with.

Meet the Team

Scott & Jenn bring a wonderful compilation of disciplines together which benefit both the horses we have and our customers we work with.

Scott

I (Scott Gordon) bring a wealth of knowledge to the business having spent years as a trainer in the Quarter Horse industry. I ran a successful show, sales, and breeding operation which led amateur and youth clients, and their horses to many championships across the country in the AQHA and NSBA circuit, including Congress, World Show, NSBA World and other major futurities. My experience includes starting horses as foals/yearlings and taking them to the elite levels in both the english and western discipline. It has always and continues to be my passion to work with and show cutting horses.

Jennifer

I (Jennifer Gebhart) started riding at a local lesson barn as a young girl. From there a true love for horses blossomed. I combined my desire to help others with my passion for horses, and started volunteering at a therapeutic riding facility in Maryland. There I served as barn manager and assistant instructor. I continued to expand my knowledge in the industry by working for local breeding farms including assisting in the training of Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Paints, and Warmbloods. I have learned from seasoned and respected professionals, focusing on how to train all horses and match them with the proper homes. I have a special interest in Quarter Horses, with the hopes that with a keen eye and personal training, I can help take the QH into both the Hunter and Quarter Horse show ring. I have long been an advocate of thoroughbred divisions at horse shows, and with my own success showing my Quarter Horse at the top level Hunter Breed shows my passion is being successful with Quarter Horses at both a Hunter show and Quarter Horse show.
